About me

I am Koos, a trauma counsellor, coach, and writer dedicated to helping people change the way they see themselves, their challenges, and their possibilities. With over two decades of experience supporting individuals through grief, trauma, and personal transformation, my work centres on one powerful idea: healing and growth begin with a shift in perspective.

My background includes an Advanced International Stress Consultancy Diploma, Psychological First Aid certification, CBT Practitioner training, and current studies toward an Honours degree in Psychology with Counselling. I have worked extensively across Southern Africa, providing support after critical incidents and guiding individuals back to stability and self-belief. These experiences have shaped my approach—practical, honest, and rooted in human resilience.

As The Perspective Coach, I do not offer quick fixes or motivational slogans. I help clients recognise how their thinking shapes their reality, and how even small shifts in perspective can open the door to confidence, clarity, and progress. Whether you are navigating trauma, rebuilding after loss, or simply feeling stuck, I provide a structured and respectful space to reclaim control and move forward with purpose.

My work is not about who you have been, but who you are becoming. Through focused conversation, practical tools, and a commitment to truth over comfort, I walk alongside those who are ready to see differently—and live differently.
